Join us for a concert featuring some of the world’s great Celtic musicians all on a single stage! The Masters of Scottish Arts Concert will be held at Benaroya Hall in downtown Seattle on Friday, February 9th. The performance begins at 7:30PM. Join us for a night of can’t-miss performances from some of the Celtic music world’s biggest names and talents. This concert presents world class performers in a world class venue! Benaroya Hall comes to life at the sound of pipes and drums during this evening of colorful and exciting music and dance. In this wonderful venue, you’ll hear piping, drumming and fiddling in a way that you just can’t imagine. Flying fingers and tunes being played with unbelievable precision–the Scottish people have a reputation for fun and celebration, and this concert is exactly that. Whether you have just arrived in Seattle from Glasgow, or aren’t the least bit Scottish and have never heard a bagpipe before, this performance has something for everyone! Come experience or discover Celtic music, dance, culture, and celebration! This year’s concert will feature performances by: -Current Glenfiddich Piping Champion Jack Lee, Great Highland Bagpipes -Willie McCallum, Great Highland Bagpipes -Roddy MacLeod, Great Highland Bagpipes -Angus MacColl, Great Highland Bagpipes -Murray Henderson, Great Highland Bagpipes -Bruce Gandy, Great Highland Bagpipes -Callum Beaumont, Great Highland Bagpipes -Current World Solo Drumming Champion Steven McWhirter, Side Drum -Blair Brown, Side Drum -Tyler Fry, Tenor Drum -Michael Cole, Bass Drum -Dr. Gary West, Smallpipes -Finlay MacDonald, Smallpipes -Ewen Henderson, Fiddle -Mairi Rankin, Fiddle -Ali Hutton, Guitar Tickets are only available by calling the Benaroya Hall Ticket office: 206.215.4747 or through Benaroya Hall’s website. Single General Admission tickets are $49 each; third tier seats are available for $28 (plus convenience fees). The Benaroya ticket office is open Monday-Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday 1pm-6pm. The following discounts are available: -Members of the Celtic Arts Foundation receive a $10 discount per ticket as well as enjoy preferred seating.
