Event Description:
The Lincoln Theatre presents a live broadcast of Met Live: Norma Saturday, Oct 7, 9:55 am and an encore broadcast Sunday, Oct 15, 1:00 pm. This new production of Bellini’s masterpiece stars Sondra Radvanovsky as the Druid priestess and Joyce DiDonato as her rival, Adalgisa—a casting coup for bel canto fans. Tenor Joseph Calleja is Pollione, Norma’s unfaithful lover, and Carlo Rizzi conducts. Sir David McVicar’s evocative production sets the action deep in a Druid forest where nature and ancient ritual rule. Advance Tickets: Adult $23, Senior $21, Student (with I.D.) and $19, Child (12 and under) $17, plus applicable fees. Lincoln Theatre Members receive $2 off all price levels.
