Join us for an exclusive workshop with Pipe Major Stuart Liddell on Friday, July 7 at the Littlefield Celtic Center in Mount Vernon! The workshop goes from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm and is an exciting opportunity to receive small-group pipes instruction with Gold-medalist piper, Stuart Liddell. Aside from being a multiple-time Glenfiddich Champion, Stuart is also the Pipe Major of the Grade I Inveraray & District Pipe Band in Inveraray, Scotland. An amazing musician and performer, Stuart is also one of the favorite instructors at the Celtic Arts Winter School, held each February. The workshop offered by the Celtic Arts Foundation will maintain a small-group focus so that all participants are able to receive specialized attention and benefit from the structure of the class. Participants are asked to bring practice chanters and pipes; music will be handed out at the workshop. Enrollment is limited to the fifteen participants, so please sign up now to avoid being left out! Students have the option of pre-purchasing a boxed lunch including a generously sized deli sandwich, chips, cookie, and water bottle, or are welcome to visit one of the numerous restaurants within walking distance from the Littlefield Celtic Center during the lunch break. Workshop participants enjoy a discounted rate at the Best Western Plus Skagit Valley Inn; please see our Highland Games Lodging Options for a complete list of area hotels. Questions?
