March 24th, 10 am- 1 pm Directions: From I-5 the Cook Road Exit #232 travel east on Cook Road; Turn left onto District Line Road and drive north to Kelleher Road; turn right onto Kelleher. The SFEG nursery is on left (north) just past District Line Road at the old steel barn. Alternately, from Hwy 20 in Sedro-Woolley take F&S Grade Rd north, and turn left onto Kelleher. Coming from this direction the nursery will be on your right. Parking is limited; please carpool. https://goo.gl/maps/ej2rG2iKGHF2 Our nursery holds our arsenal of native plants that we use at all of our restoration sites! Nursery staff have 4,000 plants coming in preparation for upcoming restoration projects. That’s A LOT of baby plants. They come as bare root plants and need to be put in pots so that they can get stronger before being placed in their forever home at a site. We provide boots and gloves to volunteers if they want them. We have snacks! This a kid friendly event, so bring the whole family! These work parties are much less work, but still a WHOLE LOT OF FUN. We pot really cute baby plants while enjoying the company of other who also enjoy saving the environment! Please RSVP by emailing outreach@skagitfisheries.org
