Name: Utopia Conservation Area Tree Planting
Date: February 24, 2018
Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM PST
Event Description:
Come out to Skagit Land Trust’s beautiful Utopia Conservation Area to help plant trees and shrubs with Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group. This property has been cared for by many hands and still have a lot of restoration to take place. We will be planting in an area visible from the road so you can always come back to see how your trees are doing! Directions: From Mount Vernon, take Hwy 20 East about 5 miles past Sedro-Woolley. Turn right onto Hoehn Rd. Hoehn comes to an intersection at Utopia Rd, turn left. The property is on the right and parking is limited on the shoulder. Carpooling is highly recommended. To bring: Sturdy hiking or mud boots, work and weather appropriate clothing and a water bottle to refill. If Cascadian is open we can take a break for coffee or ice cream!
