Why Not Home

Mount Vernon Birth Center presents Why Not Home, a free community screening of a documentary that challenges our cultural assumptions about what birth is and what it can be. It examines home birth through the lens of medical professionals who attend births in hospitals and chose to have their own children at home. It is a chance to break down stereotypes and open the discussion about maternity care in new ways. This screening is hosted by the midwives at Mount Vernon Birth Center.
