Welcome to Anderson Podiatry where it's our mission to provide high quality foot care in a timely manner at a fair cost with a caring staff.
What is podiatric care?
Dr. Anderson provides comprehensive care of the foot and ankle. This includes podiatric medicine, podiatric surgery and podiatric sports medicine.
Podiatric medicine involves the evaluation, diagnosis and provision of care of common foot problems including corns, calluses, skin disorders, arthritis, fungal infections, ingrown toenails and plantar warts. Also included are complications of the lower extremities related to diabetes, peripheral vascular disease (poor circulation) and peripheral neuropathy (numbness).
Podiatric surgery is performed to correct various disorders, such as bunions, hammertoes, neuromas, tendon injuries, ganglion cysts, arthritis, congenital deformities and fractures of the foot and ankle.
Podiatric sports medicine involves the treatment of athletic foot and ankle injuries including heel pain, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, fractures, ankle sprains, high arches and flat feet.
Your feet are the foundation of your body, consisting of 26 bones, 33 joints, more than 100 ligaments, and the network of tendons, muscles, and blood vessels in the foot and ankle, as well as the toenails and skin. They should be examined periodically to control and prevent disorders.
