Opening in July 2019. Dr. Melissa Chinn, DO, FACOG, owner and medical director, brings her clinical acumen & dedication to the patient experience to the Skagit Valley. The clinic will offer personal care for women’s personal parts and provide truly individualized, integrated women's healthcare services. Chinn GYN, LLC will be a freestanding private practice offering gynecologic and wellness care for women of all ages in an intimate setting that provides whole-person care that incorporates the patients directly into all decision-making. The practice will focus on all aspects of women’s health, including primary care, specialty gynecologic care and reproductive care. Additionally, the practice will provide a unique array of wellness services designed to manage inflammatory conditions, pain, substance use disorders, mental health concerns, weight problems, & pelvic floor concerns. The clinic setting will be unique and distinct from available medical clinic options, both in its layout & in its offerings. The clinic will include a retail boutique designed to prevent embarrassment or awkwardness at commercial check-out counters. The practice will offer many in-office procedure options for management of a variety of conditions, a dedicated Internationally Board-Certified Lactation Consultant, who is also a prescriber, and surgical management options as indicated. This model of care seeks to revolutionize women’s healthcare as it is currently provided, reintegrating the rest of the woman’s boyy and being into a space previously dedicated only to certain problems or parts.
